Application tests conducted by an independent laboratory on a group of 30 people aged 23-66 with dry, atopic and normal skin. Test duration - 4 weeks.

Drop a whole or crumbled bath bomb half into a bathtub (or a larger bowl for a relaxing foot/hand soak) filled with warm water. In contact with water, the bath bomb half dissolves and fizzes, releasing milk, plant oils and unrefined shea butter. After bathing, your skin is smooth and nourished - simply rinse your body with warm water and gently pat dry with a towel. There's no need to apply body lotion afterwards.

Note: Our bath bomb halves contain as much oil and butter as possible - please step out of the bathtub carefully, as its surface may be slippery. Clean the bathtub thoroughly after bathing.

Questions and answers about the product

How do bath hemispheres work? Is one hemisphere enough for a whole tub of water?

Drop the bath hemisphere into a tub filled with warm water and wait as it fizzes and dissolves, releasing all its oils, butters, whole milk and extras. All the ingredients in the hemisphere beautifully care for your skin while you bathe. After your bath, rinse your body with warm water and step out of the tub carefully, remembering that its surface may be slippery - after all, you've been bathing in oils and milk ;) Wipe the tub thoroughly, wash it if necessary, and never leave it slippery if others use it. Many of our customers crumble the hemisphere into powder to use a smaller amount at a time. That way, one hemisphere is enough for two lovely baths.

Do your hemispheres create foam? Do they colour the water?

Unfortunately, our hemispheres don't create foam or colour the water. They contain oils and plant butters (which moisturise and nourish the skin), and often dried flowers or herbs too. These ingredients are released gradually once the hemisphere is placed in water. We truly believe this turns your bath into a home SPA.

Can children bathe with your hemispheres?

All our products undergo appropriate testing for use by people over 3 years of age. For children under 3, we strongly recommend gentle baths with a mild oil or specialist products designed for children of that age. For older children, we advise caution before the first bath with a hemisphere - first make sure the child is not allergic to any of the product's ingredients. Then crumble off a little of the product, dissolve it in a bowl of warm water and do a patch test on a small area of skin, such as the child's elbow or foot. If there is no adverse reaction, you can happily treat your child to a hemisphere bath. We also know from experience that children don't always like things floating in their bath - so to start with we recommend the chocolate hemisphere, which has no decorative extras. Please also take extra care when getting out of the tub - after a hemisphere bath its surface may become slippery!

How do the hemispheres differ - do they have different ingredients?

All our hemispheres share the same base formula: a blend of baking soda, citric acid, powdered milk, sweet almond oil, shea butter, grape seed oil and rice bran oil. What sets them apart are the extras - plant extracts, fragrances or essential oils, and decorative additions such as dried flower petals.
