What ends up in the outlet?

The outlet is the place for cosmetics that, for various reasons, don't meet our usual, rather strict sales standards, but still do exactly what they were made for. Most often these are:

• short-dated cosmetics - the best-before date is shorter than the 6 months (or 3 months for bath melts) we guarantee for regular shipments,
• discontinued products - the last items of products we are saying goodbye to,
• products with minor packaging defects - for example a scratched print or a dented cap, which doesn't affect the contents.

Outlet products are marked "OUTLET" in their name, and the reason for the discount is given on the product page. We don't hide anything in the small print - you know what you're buying.

Short date - what does it actually mean?

For regular orders, we ship cosmetics with more than 6 months of shelf life remaining, and bath melts and samples with at least 3 months. This rule doesn't apply to products marked as outlet or short date. For each such cosmetic, the product page shows the exact use-by date, so it's easy to judge whether you'll use it up in time. A face cream you use every day or a bath melt for tonight are perfect candidates - they'll be gone from your bathroom shelf long before the date passes.

Outlet or full date - how to choose?

On the pages of short-dated cosmetics you'll find a link to the full-date version. This is handy when you want to compare both options or stock up for longer. The outlet is a great choice when:

• the product is already your favourite and you know it will go fast,
• you want to try a full-size product at a lower price,
• you're looking for a cosmetic for everyday use right now, not for the cupboard.

What to keep in mind when shopping in the outlet?

Each outlet product shows both the reduced and the regular price, so you can see right away how much you save. Before adding a product to your basket, check its page for the expiry date and the reason for the discount. Outlet cosmetics have the same formulas you know from our regular range, so their action, ingredients and directions for use stay the same. The outlet is stocked with single items and small batches, so quantities may be limited.

Why don't we throw away short-dated cosmetics?

Because it would be a waste - of raw materials, work and the energy we put into every jar and every bar. A cosmetic with a shorter date still has the same formula and the same ingredients - and it still does its job. We'd rather it went to someone who will enjoy using it than wait to be disposed of. The outlet range depends on what's left in the warehouse at any given time, so it's worth checking back regularly.
