Biodegradable glitter for face and body

Glitter madness, freckle mania, glitters, freckles, faux freckles... we're absolutely crazy about them. Facegroovin' No Guilty Pleasure face and body glitter is iridescent particles made from natural materials, completely plastic-free. Cut from a biodegradable cellulose derivative (rayon), coated with a layer of pigments (synthetic and/or mineral - the mineral mica used in our glitter comes from the USA, and its mining is regulated by national laws setting out occupational health and safety rules), and suspended in a blend of shellac, vegetable glycerin and water.

A wide range of pigments lets us offer biodegradable glitter in many different shades - from cool Silver, through semi-transparent ones (including Frosty, Peachy Pink, Gold), warm Cinnamon and Rusty Gold, to the wild, colourful freckle mix Rainbow Freckles.

To choose the right glitter shade for you, consider a few things: your colouring, skin tone, eye and hair colour, makeup, jewellery, the effect you want and the occasion.

How to apply bio glitter?

For the best effect that lasts for hours, we recommend applying bio glitter with clean, dry fingers onto skin prepped with a thin layer of a product that won't fully absorb, leaving a slightly tacky finish. In our experience, our Miód lip balm from the lipsticks and lip balms category works best, but any other may work just as well. Glitter can also be applied with a special cosmetic glitter glue - on the mobile eyelid and around the eyes, glue is a must so the particles don't fall off and irritate the eye.
