Gift cards and vouchers

How to buy a gift card?

You buy a gift card just like any other product in the shop: simply choose the version (electronic or physical card) and the value - 100, 150 or 200 PLN - then place and pay for your order. The voucher is issued once payment is received. We then send the voucher number, its value, expiry date and a link to the voucher as a PDF file - which you can print or pass on - to the e-mail address linked to the order. We issue a separate voucher for each item ordered, so you can buy several gifts in a single order.

If you have a shop account, you will find all your purchased vouchers after logging in, under "My vouchers" in the "Your account" section - together with the current balance, status, expiry date and PDF file. One caveat: a gift card cannot be paid for with another gift card.

How to use a gift card in the online shop?

Redeeming it is easy:

• add your chosen cosmetics to the cart,
• in the cart, enter the voucher number in the "Discount code/Gift card" field and confirm,
• if the order value exceeds the voucher balance, pay the difference using any payment method available in the shop.

The voucher reduces the amount due for products but does not cover delivery costs. You can use more than one voucher in a single order. A gift card is a form of payment, not a discount, so it can be combined with promotions and discounts available in the shop, including the loyalty programme discount, and does not exclude using a discount code.

Do I have to use the whole voucher at once?

No. If the order value is lower than the voucher balance, the unused amount stays on the same number and can be spent on future purchases until the balance runs out, within the voucher's validity period. The gift card is valid for 365 days from the date of issue, expiring at 23:59 on the last day. You will find the expiry date on the voucher, in the e-mail and on the "Check voucher balance" page in our shop, where entering the number also shows the current balance and status of the voucher.

What happens if I return products paid for with a voucher?

If cosmetics bought with a voucher are returned, the amount paid with the voucher goes back onto the voucher - we top up its balance rather than refunding money. If the voucher has already expired at the time of return, it gets a new expiry date: 12 months from the date of return. Any part of the price paid by other means, such as card or bank transfer, is refunded under general rules, in accordance with the shop terms and conditions. Redeeming a voucher does not require any holder details - its unique number is all you need.

A bearer voucher - protect it like cash

The Ministerstwo gift card is a bearer voucher: anyone who knows its number can use it, not necessarily the person who bought it. That is handy, as the gift can be passed on without any formalities, but it also means the voucher number should be kept away from third parties. If your voucher goes missing, please contact us at [email protected] - we can block it. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, and the balances of two vouchers cannot be merged. Full rules are set out in the gift card terms and conditions.
