Body care - the basics worth remembering

Skin is the largest organ of the human body. It protects us, senses the world, helps regulate temperature and spends most of the day working out of sight - under a sweater, in shoes, in gloves. No wonder it's easy to forget about it in our daily routine and focus only on the face. Meanwhile, elbows, heels, hands and calves can demand attention quite firmly, especially in winter. Natural body care doesn't have to be complicated: a good wash, an occasional scrub, and then proper hydration and nourishment. That's all it takes for your body to feel cared for.

Cleansing: bar soaps, shower gels and 3-in-1 bars

Soap is where it all began for us, so soaps and shower gels is the category where we feel most at home. We make our artisan bar soaps (100 g) in small batches, full of natural glycerin and unrefined butters. Body scrub - less dead skin, more smoothness

Regular exfoliation smooths the skin and prepares it to absorb balm or oil. In the body scrubs category you'll find Chałwa and Śliwka - oil-based scrubs made with cane sugar. Śliwka, with plum kernel, sweet almond, grape seed and avocado oils plus shea and cocoa butter, is a coarse yet gentle scrub: it gives a thorough massage without scratching the skin. In tests, regular use increased skin smoothness by as much as 40%, and after a bath with Śliwka your body usually needs no further moisturising. For a lighter texture, try the fast-absorbing Algi + pantenol balm in a tube, or the oriental Szafran in a glass jar, which is also great for hands.
