When it comes to soap, we at Ministerstwo believe that a handcrafted bar is the best choice. The only thing better than a glass bottle, a recycled plastic bottle, a recyclable plastic bottle or a corn-based pseudo-plastic bottle is... no bottle at all.

A bar needs no bottle, no pump and no metal spring inside that pump. A bar needs no preservatives, wants no dispenser and goes looking for no refill pouch. You could say it is the very essence of soapiness (if such a thing even exists ;)). Made almost entirely of saponified oils and butters, long-cured and fully matured - it is a true soap manifesto.

Without soap there would be no Ministerstwo Dobrego Mydła. We make our soaps from our own recipes, following the principles of traditional soapmaking. Years of experience, hours spent with our noses in books and notes, countless tweaks, knowing the properties of every oil and combining ingredients so they complement each other - that is what makes our handcrafted soaps truly GOOD. We use the finest raw materials available - plant oils and butters, clays, herbs, fragrances and essential oils. Our bars are full of natural glycerin, economical and long-lasting, yet gentle and effective.

They smell beautiful and catch the eye with their elegant simplicity, turning every bath into a real pleasure. What are Ministerstwo soaps like?

Ministerstwo natural handcrafted soaps are made by combining plant fats (olive oil, coconut oil, unrefined shea and cocoa butter and other wonderful oils) with sodium hydroxide. The whole process is a bit like cooking. Saponification produces plenty of beneficial natural glycerin, which our soaps are full of. We also leave a certain percentage of oils and butters unsaponified, so our soaps care for the skin as you wash and keep it from drying out. Before a good bar of soap is ready, there is long, painstaking work on the recipe and almost two months of waiting for the bar to fully mature. All that time pays off, though, with a good, long-lasting and gentle soap that cleanses effectively without irritating the skin.

Which soap should you choose?

Our range includes ultra-gentle soaps (such as Ryż and Nagietek) - ideal for allergy sufferers, children and people with very sensitive skin. The exfoliating Ogórek and Kawa slough off dead skin, boost microcirculation, smooth the skin and scrub reeeeally well. Rozmaryn wakes you up better than your morning coffee, and the cookie-scented Cynamony will brighten up more than just warming winter showers. The black charcoal soap is a unisex bathroom must-have for minimalism lovers, while the pink Hibiskus has won many a woman's heart. So choose according to your tastes and needs - we are sure you will find something for yourself.
