Cosmetics for the little ones - the simpler, the better

A child's skin needs less than drugstore shelves suggest. Instead of elaborate sets, we prefer to offer a few proven, versatile products with short ingredient lists that the whole household can share. That's why this category has no cosmetics "made especially for kids" with a long list of promises - instead, you'll find a butter, an oil and one family shampoo-gel. For each of them we clearly state who it is intended for, and if there is a minimum age, we say so directly.

Organic shea butter - a hypoallergenic classic

Pure, unrefined organic shea butter (also known as Karite butter) is obtained from the nuts of the African shea tree. We melt it at a low temperature, up to 50°C, so it keeps its properties. It is hypoallergenic, and in the product description we indicate it as suitable for babies and children, as well as for people with dry, sensitive, atopic and irritation-prone skin. Its high fatty acid content helps prevent excessive water loss from the epidermis and leaves a delicate protective film on the skin. It's a wonderful all-purpose balm for the whole family: for adults, it soothes chapped lips, dry hands and cracked heels. We pack the butter in a glass jar (75 g), and its formula is 100% ingredients of natural origin.

Sweet almond oil - gentle and versatile

Cold-pressed, organic and unrefined sweet almond oil contains exactly one ingredient. It is considered one of the gentlest oils and works well for sensitive, children's and irritated skin. In application tests conducted by an independent laboratory over 4 weeks on a group of adults (18-60 years) and children (3-10 years) with sensitive, dry, irritation-prone and atopic skin, it proved gentle on the skin, absorbed well, nourished, softened and relieved itchy skin. You can use it for massage, on the skin after a bath, or add a small amount to bath water - just remember that the tub will become slippery. Daily - one shampoo-gel for the whole family

We dedicate the Daily line to whole families, including children from 3 years of age. The 3-in-1 family shampoo-gel washes hair, hands and body, lathers well and rinses off easily, and when used as a shampoo it makes hair easier to detangle. It contains mango fruit and rose of Jericho extracts, hydrolysed pea protein and natural conditioners, has a fruity scent and is vegan (98.9% ingredients of natural origin). The large 400 ml recycled bottle with a pump lets you handle both the tub and an impatient bather with one hand. A few common-sense rules

Even the gentlest cosmetic is best tested first on a small patch of skin while watching how it reacts. Keep cosmetics out of children's reach and make sure they don't get into the eyes. If your child's skin is very dry, atopic or shows any changes, it's best to consult a paediatrician or dermatologist about the right care.
