Cold-pressed, organic and unrefined sweet almond oil with a delicate scent. A classic, an evergreen and a skincare essential. One of the gentlest, most versatile oils, considered non-sensitising. Natural, organic and cold-pressed. It spreads easily and glides smoothly over the skin. Rich in vitamins A, E, D and B-group vitamins, it works beautifully in comprehensive care for all skin types, including sensitive, children's and irritated skin.
It supports skin regeneration and helps improve elasticity. It nourishes, softens and smooths, leaving a feeling of hydration. Its moderate richness and medium-weight texture place it firmly in the top league of the most versatile skincare companions.
It replaces creams and lotions, combined with a hydrosol it removes even waterproof makeup, helps with split ends and adds shine to hair. It strengthens nails. You can blend it with other oils to create your own personalised mixes. Mixed with a little sugar, it makes a nourishing lip scrub; massaged into feet, it softens and moisturises; added to a clay mask, it softens its degreasing effect; and when needed, it tames unruly brow hairs. After sunbathing, in winter and spring, for little ones and grown-ups. Simply wonderful.
In a large (140 ml!), elegant dark glass bottle with a handy pump for easy dispensing, it is perfect for body and face care and massage.

Application test results:

Application tests conducted by an independent laboratory on a group of 20 people aged 18-60 (adults) and 3-10 (children) with sensitive, dry, irritation-prone and atopic skin. Test duration - 4 weeks.
Massage oil: Pump a portion of oil onto your hands, apply to cleansed skin and massage the chosen area of the body. If needed, pump another portion and continue the massage. For daily care, apply to cleansed skin dampened (e.g. with a hydrosol).
Bath oil: Add a small amount of oil to your bath. Be careful when getting out - the tub may be slippery!
Hair oil: Before washing - oiling along the entire length of the hair: Pump a portion of oil onto your hand, rub between your palms and spread over dry or dampened (e.g. with a hydrosol) hair. Wrap in a shower cap and leave on for 10-20 minutes, then wash your hair as usual.
After washing - oil for hair ends: Pump a portion of oil onto your hand, rub between your palms and run your fingers through your hair - from mid-lengths to the very ends.
Nails: Massage the oil in circular motions into polish-free nail plates and the surrounding cuticles.
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Store in a cool, dry place away from light.

When empty, unscrew the pump and place it in the "Plastics" bin. Peel off the label and dispose of it with mixed waste. Place the bottle in the "Glass" bin.

Very useful for caring for the delicate skin of my few-month-old baby. I was looking for something with a clean formula that wouldn't irritate or clog pores, and I found this oil. It works very well.
This is my tried-and-true classic, I use it as a base for doTERRA oils in skincare, but it's also a safe bet for sensitive skin or allergy sufferers (it has never happened to me that it clogged or irritated anyone - I use it in my salon).
My hair loves it!
Unfortunately, it slightly clogs my atopic/couperose skin with occasional blackheads, although the application, scent and smooth-skin effect are pleasant.
I bought this product because I've been happy with all of your oils I've had so far. However, this product is a huge disappointment because it stinks of rancid oil. I can't bring myself to use it around my face and décolletage precisely because of this smell. I immediately checked the expiry date, because my first thought was that it was some old product, but it's valid until 11.2025 and I'm surprised that this oil has such high ratings with such an awful smell - it doesn't smell of almonds at all, but of something rancid
(I once found a forgotten bottle of olive oil that was 4 years past its date and it smelled exactly like this)
Questions and answers about the product
Does this oil smell of almonds?
Unfortunately (or fortunately :)) sweet almond oil is usually odourless - only very rarely does a production batch have a noticeable aroma. If you are looking for an oil that smells of almonds, surprisingly, you should reach for... plum kernel oil ;)
Can I use it on my pregnancy bump?
Of course, as long as your doctor sees no contraindications :) Skin has a tough time during pregnancy - it benefits from regular nourishing combined with a gentle massage that stimulates circulation and improves firmness and elasticity. Sweet almond oil has the advantage of being light and fast-absorbing, so you can get dressed almost immediately after applying it.
Can I use almond oil on my face?
Sweet almond oil is exceptional - light and fast-absorbing on the body, it is also a popular base for many facial cosmetics. At the same time, when applied to the face on its own, it can sometimes clog pores :( If you would like to use it on your face, we recommend using it for makeup removal (e.g. by combining some oil with any hydrosol to create your own homemade bi-phase cleanser - be sure to prepare a single-use portion in a separate, clean container) or for facial massage (e.g. with a roller). Please remember that in such cases you should thoroughly wash the oil off your face afterwards with a cleansing product - water alone is not enough :)
Is its scent overpowering?
Absolutely not, quite the opposite!
Sweet almond oil is usually odourless, but as a 100% natural cosmetic its scent may vary from batch to batch - it may be less or slightly more noticeable, while always remaining very subtle :)
