Our shampoo bars are small yet versatile: Hibiskus and Zielona Herbata wash not only your hair but also your body, replacing two products in your toiletry bag at once. How is a shampoo bar different from hair soap?

Although they look similar, a shampoo bar is a completely different product from hair soap. The key difference is pH: in our shampoos it is acidic, close to the skin's natural pH (in the Mleko-Miód-Owies and Hibiskus bars it ranges from 4 to 6), while in soaps it is alkaline. A slightly acidic pH helps close the hair cuticle during washing, so hair is soft and shiny and the scalp is neither dried out nor irritated. The alkaline pH of soaps opens the cuticles - hair becomes drier and more prone to frizz, and over time the scalp may react with irritation or dandruff.

Which shampoo for which hair?

Choose your shampoo first and foremost for your scalp's needs, and only then for hair length. Here's a quick guide to our range:

• Mleko-Miód-Owies - an emollient-protein shampoo bar with inulin, honey, milk proteins, oat flour, cocoa butter and sugarcane squalane. Created for dry and damaged hair, it also works well for oily and normal hair. It increases hair density by 16% and thickness by 11%, without weighing hair down or drying out the scalp. 100% of testers said they would buy it and recommend it to friends.
• Hibiskus - a 2-in-1 humectant shampoo for body and hair, for dull, frizzy, dry and brittle hair. Humectants bind water and emollients seal in their effect, so hair is hydrated and lifted at the roots, without frizz.
• Zielona Herbata - a 3-in-1 bar for hair, beard and the whole body, with jojoba and shea butter esters, inulin, D-panthenol, camellia oil and squalane. 93% of male testers said it improves the overall look and condition of hair and scalp, and 80% confirmed they can reach for conditioner less often. • Daily - a 3-in-1 family shampoo-gel for hair, hands and body in a 400 ml pump bottle, with mango and rose of Jericho extracts and pea proteins. It has a fruity scent and suits the whole family, including children from 3 years of age.
• Róża-Malina by Anwen + Ministerstwo - a moisturising shampoo with gentle cleansers for everyday washing and a deep cleansing shampoo, recommended for oily scalps and anyone who regularly uses styling products. How to use a shampoo bar

First wet your hair, then thoroughly wet the bar itself - this determines how much lather you get and how long it lasts. Lather the bar in your hands or in a closed container (such as an empty scrub jar) filled with water to half the bar's height: close it, shake vigorously and you're done. Apply the lather to your scalp and roots, massage with your fingertips, repeat if needed and rinse, and if your hair needs it, follow with a hair conditioner.

After washing, leave the bar to dry and store it away from water. A soggy bar wears out faster, while a dry one rewards you with longevity: for medium-length hair and regular use, a shampoo bar lasts for around 40 washes.
