All our soaps are handcrafted. The ingredients are combined by hand, poured into wooden moulds, hand-cut and stamped, or threaded onto strings (in some cases). As a result, they vary slightly in colour and shape (depending on the batch). Their recipe ensures they are gentle on the skin, lather well and last a long time. However, please store them away from water between uses - on a soap dish with a drainage hole or on a rack.

The percentage of ingredients of natural origin is rounded to 1 decimal place and may change based on updates to ISO regulations.

To make sure the products you receive are always fresh, we only send cosmetics with a shelf life of more than 6 months (excluding bath hemispheres and samples, which have a minimum of 3 months). This does not apply to products marked "Outlet" or "Short date".

The photos show sample arrangements featuring the product. The price does not include decorative elements and applies to 1 unit of the described product.

This scent is amazing! :) You have to be careful, because it's so tempting to take a bite of the soap while bathing ;-)

Nice soap with a scent that isn't very intense after use but still noticeable! Something special for cinnamon roll fans :) Lightly exfoliating.

My 4-year-old daughter's favourite soap - she asked Santa for it :)
Very gentle, doesn't dry out the skin. The scent lingers, subtle and unobtrusive. Very long-lasting.

FAQ

Questions and answers about the product

Can I wash my face with your soaps?

This is a tricky question, so allow us to answer it in a bit more detail. Soaps (both bar and liquid) are intended mainly for body care because of their higher, alkaline pH, which can sensitise the delicate protective barrier of facial skin. Due to its special structure, facial skin, which has a slightly acidic pH, needs gentler care. In our knowledge and experience, products with a pH lower than alkaline are recommended here. For every skin type, soap may therefore unfortunately do more harm than good. Because it has an alkaline pH, it raises the pH of facial skin, which may result in dryness, an unpleasant feeling of tightness, or excess sebum production and breakouts. Of course, this is very individual - some of our customers can't imagine washing their face with anything other than soap (e.g. our charcoal soap), but we always kindly remind them to use a toner or hydrosol to bring the skin's pH back to its proper level. Our soaps are exceptionally gentle - most of our recipes are superfatted by a few percent. This means that a few percent of the oils and butters remain unchanged, caring for the skin while you wash. However, the face is an especially delicate area that requires particular attention and care. To find out whether our soap suits your face, simply try it: lather it in your hands and gently massage the foam in circular motions, avoiding the eye and mouth area. Then rinse your face with lukewarm water and apply a toner/hydrosol. If your skin doesn't feel dry or tight - everything is working as it should :)

How long does a 100 g bar of soap last?
That's a tough question! How long a bar lasts depends on how many people use it and how often. When a bar sits on a soap dish by the sink in a single person's home and is stored properly (which in practice means not letting it soak in water), it usually lasts longer than a month. Our soaps are very long-lasting.
Are your soaps good for washing hair?
The real question here is: "Is soap good for washing hair at all?". Yes, you can successfully wash your hair with soap. Keep in mind, however, that soap is by nature an alkaline product. It opens the hair cuticles well and removes impurities effectively. Unfortunately, it doesn't close them again. This isn't a problem for short hair or dreadlocks (for dreadlocks it's actually beneficial). But if you have long hair, open cuticles can make it feel stiff and cause breakage. In that case, remember to occasionally use a rinse after washing, made from one tablespoon of wine or apple cider vinegar mixed with a glass of lukewarm water. This rinse closes the cuticles, leaving hair softer.
Can I use your soaps to wash children?
Of course! Take a look at our range of super gentle soaps. These recipes contain 10% unrefined shea butter and 6% unsaponified oils and butters - they really are very gentle. That said, as far as we know, in the first weeks or even months of a baby's life, washing young skin with soap is generally unnecessary, apart from the nappy area. Warm water with a few drops of oil (e.g. sweet almond oil) and a spoonful of breast milk works much better. Babies primarily need their skin protected and cared for. Older kids, on the other hand (if they have no diagnosed skin allergies), can be scrubbed with most of our soaps. Pineapple soaps are especially popular with children, as they lather well and smell amazing. Carrots with a bird are also a favourite.
Do your soaps get mushy or soft on the soap dish?

Our soaps are formulated to soften as little as possible in the soap dish - but a lot depends on how they are stored.

We recommend using soap dishes with a drainage hole or holes, so water can flow away freely and the soap can dry out instead of dissolving :)

If you still have concerns, we recommend our Rosemary or Lavender soap. These soaps come on a string, which means they don't have to sit in a soap dish - you can hang them anywhere in the bathroom, e.g. on the tap or a handle next to the shower or bathtub.

Do your soaps dry out the skin? Which of your soaps is the most moisturising?

Please remember that traditional bar soap, as a strong cleansing product with an alkaline pH, will never moisturise the skin :( Its job is to remove excess sebum, sweat and other impurities from the skin's surface, which may disrupt its natural hydrolipid barrier. However, our range includes Calendula and Rice soaps - products dedicated to sensitive skin. They cleanse just as effectively, but thanks to a higher content of unsaponified oils and butters, they are gentler on the skin and less likely to dry it out.

Can your soaps be used for intimate hygiene? If so, which ones?

As far as we know, intimate hygiene products should have a slightly acidic pH of 5.5 or lower - whereas the pH of our soaps is usually around 8-8.5. Regular use of soap on intimate areas could therefore cause dryness, sensitivity and disrupt the natural bacterial flora. It is worth noting, however, that soap can be used on areas near the intimate zone, such as the groin.

What happens to soap after its expiry date - can I still use it?

As a cosmetics manufacturer, we put a best-before date on every product package. This is the period during which we take full responsibility for the product's suitability for use. Unfortunately, once this date has passed, you use the product at your own risk.
