Aluminum Hydroxide
Aluminium hydroxide
Aluminium hydroxide is a mineral compound that works mainly "behind the scenes" in colour cosmetics. It coats pigment particles, such as titanium dioxide, with a thin layer, improving how they spread, preventing clumping and helping achieve even, natural-looking coverage.
It also acts as a light mattifying and opacifying agent. In our range, you'll find it in our moisturising face foundations.
Did you know?: In nature, aluminium hydroxide occurs as the mineral gibbsite - one of the main components of bauxite, the ore from which aluminium is obtained.
