The Careup fluids are fragrance-free. Although our shade names may suggest sweet scents, don't be fooled - we deliberately don't use fragrances in these formulas :)
Is Careup a long-lasting foundation?
Careup foundations offer standard wear - they stay on the skin long enough without the need for a base or primer.
What finish do the foundations have?
In search of the perfect finish for our face foundations, we focused on avoiding the matte effect you can get, for example, with powder. We wanted the most natural finish possible - a glow that gives the face radiance while making it feel as if you're not wearing foundation at all. That's why our fluids have a "dewy" finish with a subtle sheen, like after a rich cream or face oil. However, if you don't want the glow effect, you can mattify our fluids by finishing your makeup with a mattifying powder.
What coverage do Careup foundations have?
Ministerstwo face foundations offer good coverage - from light to medium. They even out skin tone, cover what needs covering and at the same time look as if they're barely there. We wanted to avoid the mask effect, and we succeeded.
Is the coverage of Careup foundations buildable?

Will everyone find their shade?
When creating our foundation formula, we spent by far the most time finding shades that would suit as many people as possible - from a light, cool beige with a pinkish-grey undertone (No 10 - Rose Macaron) to the decidedly warm and darkest shade in the range, No 60 - Cinnamon Roll. The Careup line also includes beiges with yellow and peach undertones. Our Careup foundations "work" with your skin - each shade may behave differently depending on your natural skin tone and individual skin pH. That's why we introduced an unusual shade-marking system on the stickers on our foundation boxes. Each box carries a two-tone sticker - the shade sits between these two tones. Our foundations are easy to mix to create your perfect shade, which we warmly encourage you to try in our stores or by buying foundation samples online.
How are Careup foundations different from BB/CC creams?
Careup by Ministerstwo is a new category in the cosmetics market. Its formula is nothing like BB or CC products. We wanted to create a foundation that cares for your skin while evening out its tone and concealing imperfections, without a mask effect. It gives a natural finish and applies easily, without pilling or streaking. It's the right foundation for beginners and professionals alike.
Can Careup foundations be combined with other Ministerstwo products?
Yes, absolutely! Of course, it all depends on your individual skincare needs. If you love richer creams, our oils or oil serums (e.g. Rose-Raspberry, Rice), wait a moment after applying them so they absorb well before applying your Careup foundation. If you prefer lighter skincare or have oily or problematic skin, you can choose Sugar serum or the light H2O cream as a base for our foundation. We encourage you to buy samples of our foundations (or a sample set of all shades) and combine them with your favourite products from our range to find your perfect routine.
Do Careup foundations contain SPF?
Hydrocolor C+ foundations do not contain sunscreen filters. This comes from our decision to make a highly natural, lightweight, easy-to-use, medium-coverage foundation the cornerstone of the Ministerstwo makeup line. Achieving these qualities along with proper sun protection would have required synthetic filters. We appreciate synthetic filters for their effectiveness and safety, but using them would drastically reduce the product's naturalness. The natural alternative - mineral filters - would significantly change the foundation, making it heavier, greasier and much more opaque. So we chose naturalness, functionality and great performance for the Careup foundation line, and recommend applying your favourite SPF beforehand. Perhaps in the future we'll introduce another foundation line designed to combine colour with sun protection. But that's a whole different story.
Do I need a sponge or brush to apply the foundation?
No, you don't need a sponge or brush to apply our foundations - your hands are enough :) Careup foundations apply beautifully with fingers as well as with a sponge or brush.
Do the different foundation shades have different formulas?
The formulas of the individual shades differ mainly in their pigment concentration. Their base, on the other hand, is very similar.
Is the glycerin in the foundations plant-based?
Yes, the glycerin in our face fluids is a plant-derived ingredient (it is produced from Karanja seeds).
