Cetearyl Olivate
Cetearyl olivate
Cetearyl olivate is made from olive oil fatty acids combined with cetearyl alcohol. It usually works together with sorbitan olivate to bind oil and water permanently, creating an emulsion.
It forms so-called liquid crystal structures in creams, resembling the lipid structure of the epidermis. This makes products light and easy to spread, leaving skin soft without a greasy film. In our products you'll find it in face and hand creams, lotions, face scrub and hair styling products.
Did you know?: This emulsifier is built from olive oil fatty acids and fatty alcohols - making it fully plant-based and very well tolerated by the skin.
