soft, silky-smooth, cleansed and nourished skin with no drying effect. Replenished epidermal lipids, support for regeneration and a strengthened skin barrier.

Our customers know us for two things: excellent cosmetics and long-winded, not-so-funny stories about them ;) We wanted to serve you this classic combo with Halva too, but then we got the results of its tests and... we have nothing left to add.
It smells beautiful and makes for a pleasant, relaxing ritual - according to 100% of testers. It cleanses gently and leaves skin soft and silky smooth - according to 100% of testers. It leaves skin feeling nourished - according to 100% of testers. "I would choose this product again" - according to 100% of testers.
So what more is there to say? Well, maybe just that Halva (or rather a sesame exfoliating mask for cleansing and nourishing the face and hands) is gently warming and, thanks to its patented (seriously, no jokes!) exfoliating and cleansing formula, opens pores thoroughly yet gently, removing impurities and makeup residue. It smooths instantly. It doesn't dry the skin. It leaves a protective film on the skin, and after hours it comes to the rescue of dry, rough hands!

Instrumental tests confirm that Halva scrub replenishes lipid levels in the epidermis, protects skin against excessive water loss and supports its regeneration processes. It also maintains the hydrolipid balance and supports the skin's protective barrier, strengthening its natural defence functions.
We recommend Halva in all seriousness. It's our personal Nobel Prize nominee.

Squeeze a small amount of paste onto damp hands and rub between your fingers, then apply to a damp face and massage in circular motions, avoiding the eye area.
Adjust the intensity by the pressure of your hands - this lets you do a gentler or stronger scrub.

For oily skin, after rinsing you can additionally use micellar water/hydrosol, then apply your favourite cream or oil.

For dry skin, apply cream/oil directly to the face after rinsing off the paste. For a deep cleanse, apply a larger amount of paste to damp facial skin, wait a moment (you may feel a slight warming effect that helps open and cleanse pores), then rinse off with lukewarm water using circular motions.

If you like, also use it on hands, feet and body. Use the paste on face, hands and body no more than 1-2 times a week, as Halva is a deep-cleansing, exfoliating product.

Avoid contact with eyes. For external use only. Store in a cool, dry, shaded place.

I love the scent and the texture. It's thick and very nourishing. I spread it slowly and carefully and leave it on for a few minutes. It's quite strong, so I massage gently with the particles. I have other products for quick scrubs.

A wonderful scrub. Since I got it, I haven't used any others. It pleasantly warms the skin and has a sweet cinnamon scent that I love. It's very long-lasting, which is an extra advantage.

FAQ

Questions and answers about the product

Is Halva a face wash?
Halva is a cleansing and exfoliating paste - although it will remove light makeup, excess sebum and impurities and help clear pores, it shouldn't be treated as an everyday face wash. Use it for a deeper cleanse 1-2 times a week :).
Is the product a cleansing paste or a scrub?
Both! It's a 3-in-1 product, so it works perfectly as a gently exfoliating cosmetic and as a paste that washes away leftover sebum or makeup (avoiding the eye area). Left on the face for 5-10 minutes, it also works as a nourishing mask. Because of its exfoliating action, it's not for daily use - 1-2 times a week is just right :).
Does it contain exfoliating particles?

Yes, Halva contains finely ground sweet almond shells and walnut seeds. These cosmetic particles have a small but varied diameter and have been prepared to be a perfect fit for facecare products. Their proportion, which we fine-tuned through countless rounds of trial and error, means they cleanse the face firmly yet very gently. How strongly the scrub exfoliates depends on the pressure of your hands - massage with care, just the way you like it best :).

How often should I use it to cleanse my face? Can I use it every day?
Because of the particles in Halva and its exfoliating properties, we don't recommend using it every day. Exfoliating 1-2 times a week is ideal :).
Is it suitable for all skin types?

Absolutely - every skin type can benefit from Halva :). For combination and oily skin, we recommend using the paste mainly as a scrub that deeply cleanses the pores - taking care around blemishes, ideally avoiding problem areas. Afterwards, you can wash your skin with a foam or wipe it with micellar water, followed by a hydrosol, to remove the light film Halva leaves behind. Dry, sensitive or couperose skin, on the other hand, may prefer using Halva as a softening and smoothing mask for a few minutes, or massaging it in more gently with lighter hand pressure. After rinsing the paste off with water, don't wash your face - let the delicate protective halva layer stay on your skin. However, we advise against using the product altogether if you suffer from skin conditions or active acne, and above all if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Our shop now offers a Halva sample - we truly believe it will help you decide on buying the full-size product.

Is it suitable for daily use on sensitive, couperose skin?
Dear customers, since Halva is an exfoliating product, we recommend using it no more than 1-2 times a week :). If you have sensitive or couperose skin, we recommend applying the paste and massaging your face with very gentle hand pressure.
Do I need to use a toner or hydrosol after using it?

It's not necessary - it depends entirely on your skin's needs and personal preferences. After rinsing, Halva leaves a delicate, protective film on the skin - with combination and oily skin, you may feel the need to wipe it off with a cotton pad soaked in micellar water. In that case, remember that micellar water should also be rinsed off the face with lukewarm water or by generously spritzing it with hydrosol. You can also remove the halva film completely with a foam or gel cleanser and then apply the rest of your routine. Dry, thirsty skin will happily welcome the delicate protective layer left by Halva - for some it will be all the care they need, while others will want an additional cream or oil.

Can it also be used as a mask?
Absolutely - you can massage Halva into damp skin on your face, hands or feet as a cleansing and exfoliating scrub, or apply a layer to dry skin as a softening and smoothing mask and rinse off after about 5-10 minutes :).
Can I use it as a hand scrub?
Of course! It also works wonderfully as a foot scrub. Apply Halva to dry or slightly damp skin on your hands/feet, massage it in thoroughly on all sides and rinse generously with warm water :). If you use it in the bath, please be careful when getting out - it can be slippery!
Is it an oily product?

Yes, Halva is packed to the brim with beneficial oils - including sesame seed oil (pleasantly warming during use!), sweet almond oil and shea butter, so it is an oily product. However, a gentle emulsifier makes it instantly transform into a light, easy-to-rinse milk on contact with water. After exfoliating, a delicate protective film remains on the skin - depending on your skin's needs and preferences, you can rinse it off (then tone and continue your routine), leave it on, or leave it on and simply apply your favourite cream/oil.

Does it have a strong scent?
Yes, the scent is intensely sweet - it smells like vanilla halva, caramel popcorn, childhood sweets and a million other lovely memories :).
Can it dry out the skin?
Thanks to the high content of oils and butters in the paste, it leaves a delicate, protective film on the skin after rinsing. Instrumental tests have shown that using Halva replenishes lipid levels in the epidermis, maintaining the hydrolipid balance and thus protecting the skin from excessive water loss :) So it shouldn't have a drying effect.
Is it also suitable for men?

Of course, gentlemen - we see no contraindications at all. Halva will beautifully exfoliate dead skin, unclog pores and cleanse the face thoroughly. Our husbands, boyfriends and brothers keep stealing it from us ;).

Can my 13-year-old daughter use it?
Absolutely :). Teenage skin can unfortunately be prone to blemishes - in that case, avoid applying Halva to spots and skip problem areas of the face, so as not to irritate them unnecessarily or spread bacteria.
Does it remove makeup?
As a cleansing paste, Halva easily removes all impurities from the skin's surface, including makeup residue. 90% of testers confirm that the paste perfectly cleanses the face of leftover foundation and powder :). However, we don't recommend using Halva around the eyes - it is a scrub and may irritate this delicate area. It should also never be used as an everyday makeup remover, which should be a product without abrasive particles.
How should I store the paste?
We recommend storing Halva in a dry, cool and shaded place. The choice of room and exact spot is up to you :). Most importantly, the tube should not be exposed to direct sunlight or heat (e.g. near a radiator in winter) - it doesn't need to be kept in the fridge, though.
How long will one tube of paste last?

Halva is a very economical product - you only need a small amount (about the size of a hazelnut) for the whole face. It is an exfoliating product used not daily, but 1-2 times a week :). Depending on how often you use it and whether you use Halva only on your face or also on your hands/feet, one tube should last for a dozen or more uses.

Will the halva paste moisturise my skin?
Thanks to the high content of oils and butters in the paste, it leaves a delicate, protective film on the skin after rinsing. Instrumental tests have shown that using Halva replenishes lipid levels in the epidermis, maintaining the hydrolipid balance and thus protecting the skin from excessive water loss - which, simply put, translates into better skin hydration :).
What properties does it have besides cleansing?
Studies by an independent laboratory show that Halva gently cleanses the skin without drying or tightening it - instead, it leaves the skin feeling nourished, soft and smooth. Thanks to its warming, exfoliating formula, it opens and cleanses pores, sloughs off dead skin and effectively removes makeup residue. Its beautiful scent means Halva can also be credited with relaxing properties ;).
Do I need to apply a cream or oil after rinsing off the paste?

After rinsing, Halva leaves a delicate, protective film on the skin - depending on your needs and preferences, you can then apply your favourite cream or oil, but you can also skip it :). With combination and oily skin, you may feel the need to remove the excess film with a cotton pad soaked in micellar water (which should always be rinsed off the face with water or hydrosol!) or toner, or even to wash it off completely with a foam or gel cleanser. In that case, be sure to finish with the next steps of your favourite routine to replenish the lipids you have removed :).

Will the paste clear deep blackheads?

Halva gently warms the facial skin and exfoliates dead skin cells, giving better access to blackheads, but deeply embedded blemishes will most likely require the help of a specialist - a beautician. We cannot promise that a mechanical scrub will deal with deeper blackheads.
