Dehydroacetic acid

Dehydroacetic acid is a preservative that is particularly effective at protecting cosmetics from mould and yeast. It is most often combined with benzyl alcohol, as together they cover a wider range of microorganisms.

We use it in water-based products to keep them safe from the moment you open them to the very last drop. You will find it in our face and hand creams, body lotions, conditioners, hair mists and scalp serums, as well as in styling products.
