Glyceryl caprylate

Glyceryl caprylate is a multitasking ingredient: it acts as a light emollient, supports emulsification and stabilises texture. It also helps protect the product against microorganisms, making it possible to reduce the amount of conventional preservatives.

Did you know?: Caprylic acid takes its name from the Latin "capra", meaning goat, as it occurs in goat milk fat. For cosmetics, it is sourced from coconut and palm oils.
