Illite (illite clay)

Illite is an aluminosilicate mineral that, together with montmorillonite and kaolinite, makes up many natural cosmetic clays. It binds excess sebum and impurities, gently cleansing the skin and scalp.

In hair styling products, it gives hairstyles texture and a matte finish. You'll find it in our natural soaps, bath bombs, and hair clay and pre-styler.
