Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil, Helianthus Annus Seed Oil, olej słonecznikowy

Sunflower oil

Sunflower oil is pressed from the seeds of the common sunflower. It has a light color, a delicate scent and a light texture, so it blends well with other oils and butters and never feels heavy on the skin.

It is rich in linoleic acid, one of the fatty acids the skin needs to build its barrier, and contains natural vitamin E. It nourishes and softens the skin, helps limit water loss and supports its protection against dryness.

It is one of the most frequently used oils in our cosmetics. You will find it in body lotions, lipsticks and lip balms, face creams and serums, foundations, makeup removing and massage oils, soaps, shampoo bars, bath bombs and hair styling products.

Did you know?: The genus name Helianthus comes from the Greek words "helios" (sun) and "anthos" (flower). Young sunflowers turn their buds to follow the sun, while mature flower heads usually face east.
