Linalool

Linalool

Linalool is a fragrance compound that plants produce naturally - it is abundant in lavender, bergamot, coriander and rose oils, among others. It enters cosmetics together with essential oils or fragrance compositions and gives them a fresh, slightly floral note.

EU law requires linalool to be listed by name in the ingredients when its concentration exceeds a set threshold. This allows people sensitive to this ingredient to easily avoid it. You will find it in our body lotions, soaps, bath bombs, shampoos and serums.

Did you know?: Linalool takes its name from "linaloe" - the fragrant wood of a Mexican tree from whose oil it was once isolated. Today it is associated above all with lavender.
