Hydrogenated Lecithin
Hydrogenated lecithin
Hydrogenated lecithin is made by hydrogenating lecithin, which makes it more stable and resistant to oxidation. In creams it acts as a gentle emulsifier, arranging itself in layers that resemble the intercellular cement of the epidermis.
As a result, it not only binds water with oils but also supports the skin's protective barrier and gives a pleasant, light texture. You will find it in our face creams and serums, night masks and face scrub.
Did you know?: Hydrogenated lecithin is one of the key materials used to make liposomes - microscopic vesicles that encapsulate active ingredients.
