Inositol
Inositol
Inositol is a sugar alcohol present in many plant foods and in the cells of the human body, where it takes part in many metabolic processes. In cosmetics, it is valued for its gentle moisturizing properties.
It binds water in the epidermis, reduces roughness and leaves skin softer. It works well with other sugars, forming complexes that moisturize and nourish the skin while wrapping it in a delicate protective layer.
In our range, you'll find inositol in face creams, serums, masks and toners.
Did you know?: Inositol was once called vitamin B8, but the body can produce it on its own, so it isn't a true vitamin. Its name comes from the Greek word for muscle fiber, as it was first isolated from muscle
