Pentylene glycol

Pentylene glycol is a light, colourless liquid from the glycol family. It can be obtained from plant waste such as sugar cane bagasse or corn cobs.

It works as a humectant - it attracts and holds water in the epidermis, leaving skin moisturised and soft. It also helps dissolve other ingredients and supports preservatives, which allows their amount to be reduced. You will find it in our micellar waters, soothing face cream and overnight cream mask.
