Eugenol

Eugenol is a fragrance compound found in large amounts in clove oil, as well as in cinnamon leaf oil, basil and bay leaves. It gives cosmetics a warm, spicy aroma. In our products it appears as a natural part of essential oils and fragrance compositions.

It is on the list of fragrance allergens that EU law requires to be named in the ingredient list - this makes it easy for people with allergies to find and avoid it. You will find it in soaps, body lotions and bath bombs.
