Beta-Caryophyllene, Beta Caryophyllene

Beta-caryophyllene

Beta-caryophyllene is an aromatic compound from the sesquiterpene group, present in many plants - black pepper, cloves, rosemary, lavender and hops. It has a warm, spicy and slightly woody aroma.

We do not add it to our cosmetics separately - it comes along with essential oils and fragrance blends, and we list it by name in the ingredients to keep our formulas transparent. You will find it in soaps, hand cream, body lotion, face serum and beard oil.

Did you know?: Beta-caryophyllene is largely responsible for the distinctive scent of black pepper, and it is also found in cloves, rosemary and hops, among others.
