Sodium Rice Branate
Saponified rice bran oil
Sodium Rice Branate is rice bran oil after saponification. During soapmaking, the fat reacts with sodium hydroxide and turns into fatty acid salts, that is, the soap itself - the finished bar contains no lye.
Rice oil contains oleic and linoleic acids, making the soap mild and giving it a delicate, creamy lather. You'll find it in our natural hypoallergenic soaps.
Did you know?: Rice bran oil is very popular in Asian cuisine, including in Japan, where it is prized for frying.
