Polysorbate 20

Polysorbate 20 is an emulsifier made from sorbitol and lauric acid. Its main job is solubilisation: it allows small amounts of essential oils and fragrance blends to dissolve in water, so the product stays clear and does not separate.

It is gentle and well tolerated by the skin and scalp. In our cosmetics, you will find it in our hair mist, scalp serum and shampoo.

Did you know?: Polysorbate 20 is also approved as a food additive, where it is labelled E432
