Ornithine

Ornithine is an amino acid that the body produces on its own - among other things, it takes part in the urea cycle and serves as a starting compound for producing other amino acids, such as proline and arginine. In cosmetics, it is used in the form of a hydrochloride, which dissolves easily in water.

In scalp care, ornithine supports the condition of hair follicles and supplies them with building blocks. It helps strengthen hair, reduce hair fall and stimulate growth.
