Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Oil

Rosemary oil

Rosemary oil is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves and twigs of rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis), an aromatic shrub well known from Mediterranean cuisine. It has a fresh, herbal and camphoraceous scent.

In cosmetics, rosemary oil refreshes and invigorates, and its aroma feels revitalising and energising. It is also traditionally valued in the care of the scalp and skin prone to oiliness. It contains natural fragrance compounds, which we list separately in the ingredients.

You will find it in our natural soap.

Did you know?: The name rosemary comes from the Latin "ros marinus", meaning "dew of the sea" - the shrub grows wild on the coastal slopes of the Mediterranean.
