Punica Granatum Seed Oil, olej z pestek granatu
Pomegranate seed oil
Pomegranate seed oil is pressed from the tiny seeds of the pomegranate fruit (Punica granatum), known since antiquity in the Mediterranean and the Middle East. A single fruit yields very little oil, which is why it is considered a precious oil.
It stands out for its high content of punicic acid - a rare omega-5 fatty acid - and natural antioxidants. The oil nourishes the skin and improves its elasticity, supports its renewal and helps protect it against free radicals, making it excellent for mature skin care.
In our cosmetics, you will find it in face creams, eye serums, body lotion, lip balm, massage oils and shower gel.
Did you know?: The Latin name of the pomegranate, Punica, refers to Carthage - the Romans called the fruit the "Punic apple". Punicic acid also takes its name from it.
