Blackcurrant seed oil

Blackcurrant seed oil (Ribes nigrum) is obtained from the tiny seeds left over after the fruit is pressed for juice. It is a light, drying oil with a remarkably rich fatty acid profile.

It contains linoleic, alpha-linolenic and gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). These fatty acids help rebuild the epidermal barrier, reduce water loss and soothe feelings of dryness and irritation. The oil smooths the skin, improves its elasticity and supports renewal - all without weighing the complexion down.

In our cosmetics, you'll find it in our face cream and eye serum. It is also available on its own as a standalone care oil.
