Salvia Hispanica Seed Oil

Chia seed oil

Chia seed oil is obtained from the seeds of chia (Salvia hispanica), a plant native to Mexico and Guatemala. It stands out for its very high content of alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3) and a generous amount of linoleic acid (omega-6).

These fatty acids help rebuild the epidermal barrier, reduce water loss and soothe dry, sensitive skin. Chia oil is lightweight and absorbs quickly, leaving skin smoother and more elastic.

In our cosmetics, you'll find it in our moisturizing face cream.

Did you know?: Chia seeds were an important food for the Aztecs and Maya, and the name chia itself comes from the Nahuatl language.
