Tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E)

Tocopheryl acetate is an ester of vitamin E and acetic acid. Thanks to this combination it is much more stable than pure tocopherol - it does not oxidise as easily when exposed to air and light, so it keeps well in storage.

Once applied, it penetrates the epidermis, where it turns into active vitamin E. It helps protect the skin from free radicals and supports its renewal, hydration and elasticity. In hair care it helps shield strands from environmental factors.
