Geranyl acetate

Geranyl acetate is an ester of geraniol and one of the compounds responsible for the scent of many essential oils. In our cosmetics it comes into the formula together with essential oils such as lavender or lemongrass.

EU law requires it to be listed by name in the ingredients, so that people allergic to specific fragrance substances can recognise and avoid it. You'll find it in our hand and body creams and lotions, face cream, soap and hair styling products.
