Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf
Rosemary leaves
Rosemary (Salvia rosmarinus, formerly Rosmarinus officinalis) is an evergreen, aromatic shrub native to the Mediterranean region. Its leaves contain essential oil, rosmarinic acid and other polyphenols with antioxidant properties.
Dried, crushed leaves added to soap create a natural herbal pattern and act as a gentle scrub that lightly massages the skin as you wash. They pair beautifully with rosemary essential oil, which gives the soap a fresh, herbal scent.
In our cosmetics, you will find them in our natural rosemary soap.
Did you know?: The Latin name for rosemary, "ros marinus", means "dew of the sea" - the plant grows wild along the Mediterranean coast.
