Hydroxyacetophenone

Hydroxyacetophenone is an antioxidant compound used to support preservation. It protects the formula from oxidation and boosts the action of other preserving ingredients, so less of them is needed.

It is well tolerated and has soothing properties, making it a great fit for face and eye area products. In our range, you'll find it in micellar waters and our overnight mask.

Did you know?: Hydroxyacetophenone is not on the EU list of preservatives, yet it allows formulators to use less of them by boosting the protection of the whole formula.
