Phenoxyethanol

Phenoxyethanol is an oily, almost odorless liquid from the glycol ether group. It works against a broad spectrum of microorganisms, so a small amount is often enough, usually combined with another mild preservative.

Its use in cosmetics is regulated by EU law, which sets the maximum permitted concentration. It keeps water-based cosmetics safe throughout their use. In our range you will find it in conditioners, hair mist and scalp serum.
