Shea Butter Ethyl Esters
Shea butter ethyl esters
Shea butter ethyl esters are a fluid emollient obtained from shea butter. They keep its caring character but are much lighter: they spread quickly, absorb well and leave no greasy layer. They often replace silicones in formulas.
They soften and smooth the skin, help limit water loss, and make hair softer and smoother. In our cosmetics, you will find them in face creams, hand and body lotion, and shampoos.
Did you know?: They are made by combining shea butter fatty acids with ethyl alcohol - turning a thick butter into a light, fluid oil.
