Citrulline

Citrulline is an amino acid naturally present in the body and in the skin, where it is part of the natural moisturising factor (NMF). It takes part in a metabolic cycle that produces arginine, among others.

In cosmetics, citrulline helps bind water in the epidermis and hydrates the skin. In scalp serums, it supports the scalp's good condition and works together with other amino acids to create a favourable environment for hair follicles.
