Citral

Citral is a fragrance compound found naturally in essential oils, including lemongrass, litsea and lemon peel. It gives cosmetics a fresh, citrusy aroma.

It is one of the fragrance substances that may cause an allergic reaction in some people. EU law requires it to be listed by name in the ingredients, so people with allergies can easily avoid it. In our cosmetics, it comes from essential oils, for example in our hand cream and lotion, beard oil and bath bombs.
