Potassium cetyl phosphate

Potassium cetyl phosphate is an emulsifier made from cetyl alcohol and phosphoric acid. Its structure resembles the phospholipids found in skin cell membranes, which is why it is well tolerated, even by sensitive skin.

It binds water and oils and stabilises the emulsion, even when it contains plenty of active ingredients. Thanks to it, a cream has a pleasant, light texture and does not separate. You will find it in our smoothing overnight cream mask.
