Disodium EDTA

Disodium EDTA is a so-called chelating agent: it binds calcium, magnesium and other metal ions present in water. Without it, these ions could weaken the performance of cleansing ingredients and make the product spoil faster.

Thanks to it, the product stays stable for longer and shampoo lathers better, even in hard water. We use it in very small amounts in our shampoo and hair mist.
