Charcoal powder

Charcoal powder is made by burning wood or other plant materials without access to air. It has a porous structure and an intense black colour.

In soap, it acts as a natural colourant and helps cleanse the skin - the pores in its structure bind excess sebum and impurities, which you then rinse away with the lather. That is why it is especially loved by people with combination and oily skin. You will find it in our natural charcoal soap.
