Tin oxide (CI 77861)

Tin oxide is identified by the number CI 77861. In cosmetics it does not add colour on its own - it helps build pearlescent pigments, in which thin layers of oxides are deposited on mica flakes. It keeps this layer even, so the particles reflect light better.

The result is a subtle, pearly shine. You will find it in our natural soap and hibiscus shampoo bar.
