Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate (GLDA)

Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, or GLDA for short, is a chelating agent derived largely from plant-based glutamic acid. It binds calcium, magnesium and other metal ions found in hard water.

As a result, the product stays stable for longer, and the cleansing and preservative ingredients work more effectively. It is readily biodegradable. You will find it in our deep-cleansing hair shampoo.
