Sodium Dilauramidoglutamide Lysine

Sodium Dilauramidoglutamide Lysine

Sodium Dilauramidoglutamide Lysine is made by combining two amino acids - lysine and glutamic acid - with lauric acid from plant oils. Thanks to this structure, it binds water and oil ingredients, stabilizes the formula and helps distribute active ingredients evenly.

On the skin, it arranges itself much like the skin's own lipids, supporting its protective barrier and helping reduce water loss. In our range, you'll find it in our lip balms.

Did you know?: It belongs to the so-called gemini surfactants - its molecule has two fatty "tails" and two water-loving "heads", joined together like twins.
