Spirulina is a cyanobacterium - a microscopic photosynthetic organism living in warm, alkaline lakes. It is very rich in proteins, B vitamins, minerals and pigments such as chlorophyll and blue phycocyanin.

In soap, spirulina powder gives the bar a natural greenish colour while delivering nourishing nutrients and antioxidants to the skin. You will find it in our natural exfoliating soap.

Did you know?: Spirulina maxima was already harvested by the Aztecs from Lake Texcoco in the Valley of Mexico, who made flatcakes from it.
