Pinus Sylvestris Leaf Oil, Pinus Silvestris Oil

Pine oil

Pine oil is obtained by steam distillation of the needles and twigs of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris). It has a fresh, resinous, balsamic scent reminiscent of a walk in the woods.

In cosmetics, it adds a fresh aroma, leaves a refreshing feel and blends beautifully with spicy and citrus notes. It contains natural terpenes, including pinene and limonene - the latter is listed in the ingredients as a fragrance allergen.

You will find it in our soaps and bath bombs.

Did you know?: Scots pine is the most common tree in Polish forests. The oil is steam-distilled from its needles and young twigs.
