Hippophae Rhamnoides Fruit Oil
Sea buckthorn fruit oil
Sea buckthorn fruit oil is obtained from the pulp of its bright orange berries. It owes its color to a high content of carotenoids, including beta-carotene. It also contains vitamin E and the rare palmitoleic acid (omega-7), naturally present in human sebum.
It nourishes and revitalizes dry, rough skin, supports its protective barrier and helps soothe it. Carotenoids act as antioxidants, protecting the skin from the harmful effects of external factors. Due to its intense color, it is used in small amounts.
In our cosmetics you'll find it in our hand cream and hand and body balm.
Did you know?: Sea buckthorn also grows wild in Poland, for example on coastal dunes, where its roots help hold the sand in place.
