Apple seed oil

Apple seed oil (Pyrus malus) is pressed from tiny apple seeds. It has a light texture, absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy film and has a delicate, fruity scent.

It is rich mainly in linoleic and oleic acids, as well as phytosterols and natural vitamin E. It softens and smooths the skin, supports its protective barrier and elasticity, and helps shield it from free radicals.

Did you know?: The seeds used for pressing the oil come from the pomace left over after juice and cider production - a great example of making use of a raw material that would otherwise go to waste.
