Polyglyceryl-4 oleate

Polyglyceryl-4 oleate is made from plant glycerin and oleic acid. It is an emulsifier that binds oils with water. In cleansing oils it allows the oil, once it has dissolved makeup and sebum, to rinse off with just water, leaving no greasy film on the skin.

It is gentle and well tolerated, including around the eyes. In our cosmetics you will find it in our hydrophilic cleansing oils.

Did you know?: Emulsifiers like this are why a cleansing oil turns white when water is added - the oil emulsifies with the water and rinses away along with your makeup.
